18.05.10 - JS Surfboards St.Kilda

Over the summer months and into the real surf season, a lot of the Katani crew wanted to get onto a good all rounder board that would be fun and fast enough in small waves but also handle itself in bigger waves. Enter JS surfboards.

These boards are rock! Over the summer months we all got on the shorter, fatter JS Nitro's that have less rocker, paddle like a gun and ride 2-3inches shorter than your normal shortboard. They are so quick through dead sections and rip in the smaller stuff. This board is a must for next summer for your one seasoned punter or all round, well seasoned shralper.

A board that has caught the eye of many of our team riders this winter has been the JS Signature series (in particular the Jordy!). These boards were made to handle anything from 2-8ft, have plenty of speed and control through turns and in the barrel. A few of the boys are making some outlandish claims as "the best board they have ever ridden" but I might leave that up to you to decide.
